There's a storehouse of thousands of pieces of information on products and services behind the doors at btwholesale.com. So to save you having to tour all the aisles when you're only shopping for regular items, there's a new idea on test at BT Wholesale.
The concept - called 'MyPage' - is a web portal that we tailor to the specific needs of an individual customer. It gives fast, direct access to a central resource that contains essential information and tools relating to the BT Wholesale products and services they buy or use most. Everything from ordering and customer service processes to contracts and briefings are in the one place. Details of account, service and technical contacts are also provided in an easy reference format together with important calendar events and news of product enhancements.
The personalisation doesn't stop there. Individual users are free to customise the portal even further to suit the needs of their own job.
And because we create each 'MyPage' portal exclusively for one company, we can co-brand it with their logo and according to their corporate design guidelines. This means that the portal can be added to an intranet and have exactly the same look and feel as the surrounding content.
MyPage has been under test and development with the valuable help of BT Wholesale customer Virgin Media. Following its success, it is now at beta testing stage with 12 more customers - and its time-saving potential is already clear for companies of a variety of different sizes.
Commenting on his company's experiences with MyPage, Virgin Media Commercial Manager Aaron Briant says: "This is a massive step forward by BT Wholesale to communicate effectively with their major customers. Not only does it give key information quickly and concisely without fuss, it has the potential to hold key information specific to the BT/Virgin Media relationship that will help to drive forward a mutually beneficial business proposition."
