New Year nodes open fresh sales potential for BT Wholesale Ethernet

And the planned launch of 318 extra BT Wholesale Ethernet nodes by the end of January 2009 could give you - and them - just the answer.

Launched in June 2008 as the UK's first 21CN Ethernet-based product, BT Wholesale Ethernet already has 106 Metro nodes at locations around the country. The target is 600 by the end of March 2009. As the number grows, so do the businesses you can reach with the offer of a more cost-effective, faster and more flexible WAN or LAN solution.

A tight operating budget doesn't have to be a problem. Through BT Wholesale Ethernet, you could be helping your customers to streamline their networks - and so cut their costs - by running multiple and even bandwidth-hungry applications over the same single platform: from fixed line voice and VoIP to data, IP and video.

BT Wholesale Ethernet also combines these savings with the lower costs and easy scalability that are the key characteristics of all 21CN solutions. You can - for example - tailor a network to each customer's immediate requirements, choosing from a circuit bandwidth range of 1Mbit/s to 1Gbit/s, and then evolve its size, configuration and speed in simple, affordable step increments as their needs change.

And at the same time, because we have created BT Wholesale Ethernet specifically for the wholesale market and priced it accordingly, you can look forward to setting viable profit margins and yet staying keenly priced in what will undoubtedly be a turbulent market and a turbulent year.
