A change in the way that we manage revenue collection should see fewer reminder letters and credit control phone calls for Retail Private Circuit customers.
Previously if an invoice was overdue, credit control teams and BT Retail might get in the touch with the customer independently to chase payment.
But in response to customers' requests for a more streamlined approach, a new 'co-managed' strategy went into action on 1 November 2008 with the setting up of a new debt management team in Glasgow. This means that all communications on any debt-related issue now come from one source - and that customers have just one contact point if they have any questions.
