This month marks the first birthday of The Loop - and it's been a year when we've had a great deal to tell you.

For us at BT Wholesale it's been a period of essential evolution: 12 months in which we've been listening to you, tracking trends and demands in your marketplaces and transforming ourselves into a next generation solutions provider and market innovator to help you to do the same.

Among the highlights have been the creation of the UK's largest Ethernet network and the introduction of 21CN-based broadband services to which we will be adding a fibre access option shortly.

And our ongoing commitment to getting it 'right first time' for you and your customers is as passionate as ever.

These advances have - of course - been happening against the backdrop of the worst economic downturn in more than 60 years. It's my firm belief that to steer through this successfully and be primed for the upturn, we need to share our visions and learn from each other. The rate of change in our industry is incessant and I do hope you find The Loop a helpful mix of our news and what's happening in our industry.
