Hello you are now in The Loop / March 2010
Events
What’s the headline news in broadband developments at BT Wholesale? Tune in for a 60-minute digest of what’s important for you, your business and your customers by joining our ISP Forum interim webcall at 10.30am on Tuesday 16 March 2010.
Wholesale Broadband Connect (WBC) coverage is now at 50% – and we’re aiming to be within reach of 75% of UK homes and businesses by Spring 2011. We’ve also just launched WBC’s fibre-based End User Access variant. And this month we plan to start trialling Annex M: a technology that allows you to boost upstream speed by trading off a small amount of downstream speed. Add to that the tests we’re running on Dynamic Line Management (DLM) – to see if we can give you greater control of line rate profiles – plus updates on service harmonisation and you can see there’s plenty to hear about and discuss this time.
Introduced last November in response to customer requests, these ISP Forum interim webcalls give you the chance to hear what’s new and share your views more frequently, rather than waiting for our quarterly ISP Forum live events. They’re also a useful trailer to the kind of topics we’re likely to cover in more detail at the next event. That’s scheduled for 20 April 2010 at the BT Tower in Central London.
